LATEST NEWS
So, the Burton Transport Collectors Fair has been and gone, and was successful for us, so many thanks to all our customers.
There is now a break until our next fair which is the PBFA Christmas Fair which is being held on 1 December in the Holiday Inn in Bloomsbury. This a busy & lively fair with around 60 dealers standing. Do come along!
We issued a catalogue in advance of the York Book Fair in September 2024 and you can see a copy here - there are items still available so do get in touch if you are interested in anything. The highlight is the run of 'Parson's Pleasure', the Oxford University satirical magazine from the late 1959 edited by Richard Ingrams and Paul Foot, who went on to found Private Eye in the early 1960s. The 'Giraffe' issue contains the fabled 'highballs' cartoon by Willie Rushton.
Do take a look at our recent acquisitions. We have recently acquired two large collections of railway & general transport material, including some early items, and we will be listing this as time permits.
In addition to our attendance at book fairs, we have been concentrating on listing on ABE and eBay the many books & items of ephemera that we have acquired in recent months - click here for our latest acquisitions, here for our eBay current auctions and here for our eBay fixed price listings.
We hope to see you soon but in the meantime good hunting!
