After a year 'off the road' book and collectors' fairs are starting to come back on stream and our first outing was in Septebmer when we went to York for the 2 day PBFA Premier Fair. Just like told times! It was good to catch up with customers new and old after all this time. We took a good selection of fresh stock in our specialist subjects of transport, topography, industrial history and so on as well as a good selection of interesting ephemera. The 40 book catalogue we issued in advance of the Fair was a great success - to view it click here - there are still a few choice items available.
The lack of Fair activity meant we have been concentrating on listing on ABE and eBay the many books & items of ephemera that we have acquired in recent months. We have recently acquired a good part of an extensive collection of industrial history, mining, railway etc books & ephemera which we will be listing on ABE and eBay in the coming weeks.
Our next Fair is the Tobaz Transport Collectors' Fair in Burton on Trent on Saturday November 6. It is held in the Town Hall, a delightful venue, and doors open at 10.30. There is plenty of free, on street parking so do come along. For more details click here.
We hope to see you there but in the meantime keep safe and keep your distance!
